hey can a normal v8 lid work on a v6 3.8 a buddy of mine is looking into performance mods and i have an extra lid but i was just seein if it would work...also if it does work do you think i will need one with the air hose or will it be ok without it?

I don't think so, the V6 lids are offset - there's a pic of a Whisper V6 model on Tbyrne's site.

does anyone know for sure? i wa lookin at tbyrnes website and the carbon fiber one for the v6 doesnt look ofset...it might just be the pic...i dunno

Will not work, definitely offset (my wife drives an '02 V6).
