Default Full Bolt Ons

2002 Trans Am WS.6 A4

Ok just about got full bolt ons! I need a converter, shift kit, underdrive pulley, and maybe gears.

I currently have done: lid, high performance air filter, smooth bellows, MTI throttle body, throttle body bypass, took out ram air baffles and went with BGRA, LS6 intake manifold, Kooks Headers, True Duals with X-pipe (cats off).

I just want to run all bolt ons, no cam/heads or boost! Anything else I can do?

I'm waiting to get a tune after I do converter and pulley...

A Z06 MAF, other than that your running out of parts to get. Why no cam ect... ?? Also you can get one of those tornado's for your intake, 10-15hp

I'm at the exact same point you are. I have a 6 spd tho, so I'm only thinking about pulley and gears. After I have my car dyno'd I'll see how my air/fuel is and decide if I want to get a MAF. What do you run????

Don't bother with the MAF. It's a proven waste of money.

Agreed, leave the MAF alone. I would pick up the shift kit though.

Now you need suspension and weight reduction.

Where did you hear that, I heard it is easier on the transmission/bands! Hard shift points, but easier on the transmission. I thought the same thing but I was told that is was easier on it???

I raced a guy at the track the other day, he had a mustang with a lot of **** done! I only had these bolts ons and got him off the line, kept up with him till' the end. He ran a 12.67. I wish I had a converter, underdrive pulley, and a tune!!! I deffinately would of took him

I like just doing bolt ons and beating people, kind of that underdog fealing!!! You guys know what I mean

cam and heads are technically "bolt ons", u bolt them on. so a blower can be a bolt on too LOL.

get that stall, it will wake that car up. i need one too after driving around with matt in his ss and 3600 stall today, it was awesome.

Bolt ons do not include any power adders, or anything that touches oil.

No heads, cam, rockers, nitrous, blowers, etc etc.

A "bolt-on" is not something that is simply attached to the car with bolts. If that were true a cat-back wouldn't be a bolt-on as you never touch a single bolt when swapping a cat-back. Seriously guys.

I'm still tryin' to figure out why you did a ls6 intake, when it's an '02. It already has one.

I'm sure that the 01-02 people list it so that whoever is reading doesn't have to take the extra step to think about the year differences and see what year they have, then decide whether or not they have/need the LS6 intake.

Yeah, get that converter, some 3.73s, subframe connectors, and put your car on a diet. Start with the front end... you can take out/delete the AIR system, put in a tubular K-member & A-arms, and any other system you can live without(maybe A/C???). Losing weight is just like adding power, plus you may get better gas mileage since you ain't pushing as heavy a load as before. Good luck, dude. Keep us posted.
