Default clutch or headers?

i am probably going to get one of the 2 pretty soon but can not decide, i was looking at either a stage 3 clutch or a textralia (but dont knw how much$$), and having TDP, installing the clutch for 125$, as far as the clutch would there be anything else i would need done to the tranny to do with the clutch?
or
Pacesetters LT's w/ORY either cermaic coated-500$ (TSP) or just black but i dont knw how much it is for black.
i was leaning more toward clutch cus mine is goin to last much longer it feels like its goin bad, mushy, soft, etc. Eventually i will have both but can only afford one. give your advice and what you think, thanks

If you go with the clutch, you'll either need to have your flywheel resurfaced or get a new one and you might want to look into upgrading your slave cylinder.

I say go for the clutch. My stocker was doing ok 1st time to the track while it was still a lid only car. That was back in March when I ran 12.99, see sig. I installed Pacesetter longtubes, TSP ory, and the Hooker catback. Next trip to the track in July clutch slipped BAADD on the 1st run, only went 13.14@108.xx on a 1.939 60ft. Everytime I shifted to the next gear it slipped a bit then grabbed. Second and final pass for the nite, 1.935 60ft, clutch starts to slip, hit 2nd, smoke rolls out from under the car and I park it for 2.5 hrs.....not good, and this is a ZO6 clutch BTW. Oh yeah, this was all on street tires, not DRs. After letting the clutch cool and taking it easy on the 60ish mile ride home it was fine. Still grabs great on the street, but the track it just WILL NOT HOLD.

So my point is this, what good is the extra power from the exhaust when I can't get it to the ground at the track? None. Good luck, oh yeah, if your already seeing symptoms of clutch failure that should seal the deal on the clutch purchase. The clutch I'm going with when funds allow is the Textralia

do we need to call textrallia to get a price or what? i cant find any price on their products

go headers.. do clutch when the stocker gives out.

If you are looking for sound get headers, Looking to be fast get the clutch.

A Textralia(which includes new dics, pressure plate, slave cyclinder, flywheel) is around $940 right now if you look in the group buy section. I know it's a lot but I think it will be money well spent if you abuse your car much.

Personally, I'd opt for the stuff I didn't really have to have like the exhaust. Later, when the clutch is surely fried, it's easier for me to tell my wife that my clutch is roasted and I have to have a new clutch. Sounds logical, right? LOL

I went with headers instead of a clutch myself. If you plan on going to the track a lot, then go with a clutch.

clutch! clutch! CLUTCH! get the picture. if u dont have money for both what will u be doing if you go w/ headers. run outside start the car,just to hear the headers at work,but when u put it in gear NOTHING HAPPENS. what fun is that " go clutch dude!
