Depends on the catback...GMMG, Corsa, Borla, etc. $750-850 + $200 pulley.

I would to not spend more than $300 - $400 tops.

I might sell my jet-ski, then I will have around $4k to spend, but I doubt I will sell it since I like it so much.

i would say get a cutout, cause then it will sound stock until you uncap it . get a lid for sure, a catback won't be too loud for dd duties, underdrive pulley and belt. do the tb bypass, thats like 2 bucks. you already have ls6 intake so thats a plus. depending on the mileage maybe get some new plugs (ngk t55) and performance wire msd/ taylor etc. as for the free mods, cut out the bottom of your airbox so your engine can breathe better, thats called the fra mod if you go to installuniversity.com it will show you how to do it with pics, descreen you maf sensor.

lid-$99
pulley-$199
belt-$19
cutout-$40 (electric $140)
plugs- $20
wires- $59 and up
ported tb-free if you do it. $100 someone else
tb bypass- $5 at the most
ferno smooth bellows (lowes) $5
fra- free
descreen maf sensor-free

all that totals about 600 give or take.

any of them. I have the SLP model, and it came with the provisions for the AIR hose that goes on the side.
But all of the do the same.

mti/tsp

the slp has the air hose hook up, which can be plugged... but why not get one you dont have to plug.

I like my MTI, and the TSP lids are very nice too.

I have an MTI, pretty happy with it, look for a used one somewhere, a lid really doesn't stop functioning b/c of wear or anything.

A lid is a Lid, for the most part. Whisper lid on our 02 Z28.

If you want to pick up a little bit of power with the stock lid, pul it off and break off all of the ribs on the underside of it. If you want it perfect, grab some sand paper and make it as smooth as you can. Not as much power as an aftermarket lid(due to the necking down the stock one does), but this definately helps and is FREE!

If you've got any questions, feel free to ask.

I have the Whisper and the fitment is ****, it doesnt seal and it is really tight when clipping it back on, one day it will break. I would say MTI or TSP, those are some nice lids.

SLP probably has the best fit , but MTI and TSP flow a little better.
