Default 98 t/a vs 69 camaro

alright guys i need some help with makeing up my mind. i have a 69 camaro vertthat ever sence i got my t/a just done nothing but sit, now it doesnt run and needs work. i need to figure out if i should sell the t/a and build my 69 or keep going with the t/a. i love both cars and i get this empty feeling just thinking about selling one. but i cant afford to build both of them. right now that t/a is running high 11's. the camaro needs everything paint, new engine/rebuild, interior, little rust, tires, rims, ect.
what do you guys think will be better in the long run.

That's an apple and an orange. The 98 will be much more practical and easier to make fast (you have already made it fast!). The 69 will be cooler, but it won't ride as well, handle as well, get as good of gas mileage, or be as driveable. Plus, get ready to spend at least $15K making the 69 looking good. You could drop in an LS1, but that would cost another $10K. If it were me, I'd keep the 98, no, I'd fix up the 69, heck, I'd do both!!!! That's a tough decision, but if you can only do one, do the 98.

Keep the T/A as it is...don't spend ANY more money on it. Now, build up that 69 Camaro because fully done that is one hell of an investment.

Do you "have" to sell one of them? If not, let the 69 sit, get around to it some other time. Enjoy the T/A in the meanwhile.

I agree, I would rather let it sit than sell either

yeah, be patient, and hell, how can you not be content with an 11 second car? Let the 69 camaro wait until you can make it drive and run like a bitch!

Believe it or not I am in the exact same situation as you (well, I was)

In the end I decided to keep both and work slowly at each.

But, if you look at it economically, that 15k that you can drop into the 'camaro after you sell the bird could make quite a bit of profit for you
