Owl probably hasnt had is license for long on top of the being a sports car even with a v6 you get the surcharge. Also Owl congrats not many can buy a sports car. Dont start modding the car. Save as much as you can and make payments for 3 years then find your self a LS1 should be even cheaper to get then. Also the drivetrain arent made to handle more than 300hp from a v6..its not a GNX even those trans didnt last. then you have 10 bolt issue. My 2 cents Get some shiny rims some sticky tread and enjoy it. Good luck

turning/handling im still testing as the car is much larger i dont want to kill myself by driving it the same way i did the honda, but it seems good so far, ive been gradually increasing speeds on turns.
As far as buying an LS1 engine. Whether the engine came from a z28, an SS, a Formula, a TransAm, and Ws6, a Firehawk, or even a Corvette (non z06), all LS1s are virtually the same (save for some minor difference between the model years). All these seperate cars had different hp ratings, but strap any LS1 to an engine dyno, and they will pull virtually identical numbers, usually around 350 horse. If you are actually going to do the swap (which is pretty pricey) instead of getting an LS1 equipped car, don't worry about where the LS1 came from, just be more concerned with how much they want for it, mileage, etc.

ok im back =)
yes you guys are right, i already do want a v8 >_< my only concerns is that every 2 weeks i have to make a trip to DC ~ roughtly 214 mile drive. the V6 gets a 20-24 mpg on the highway. how does the V8 fair?
and i will never get rid of my rice =P, i just dont drive it either xD i might need to turn it on to let the gas cycle or somehting
see im thinking since i still have my rice which gets somewhere between 28 - 34 mpg on the highway, i can stick to that for my trips, and keep the v* for inncer city travel, however if V8's get 20+ mpg i will keep to that
*edit* and i jumped back on my parent's insurance, 165 a month full coverage primary w/ 250 deductible
P.S. i still dont know what a stall is
