The color is rare because it was replaced with Navy blue metallic early on in the '98 model year.

Bright purple metallic is a highly sought after color.

I hate when people say that ****. I had a 1997 Mustang GT as my first car *I know I know...* and it was in Aztec Gold Metallic....No one liked the color besides me. I guess everyone just liked red, or black.

I'd be suspicious of a price that low. Either its
a. Been wrecked
b. Has been dogged on and is in rough shape cosmetically and/or mechanically
c. The guy is a fool and its a nice car that you should go over and buy this very second.

If it isn't what you want though, don't buy it. Don't buy an auto when you really want a stick.

FWIW I saw a 1998 ls1 my friend was looking at 60k miles, for 7 grand, had a 6 speed t-tops loaded, z28. he ran a carfax, actual mileage shown 180k miles Just make sure everything checks out, but that seems awfully low for a ls1, so I would make surewhat I am getting is what it is.

Even if it is a great price...... if you dont like purple and want a stick, dont buy it. Just keep searching and youll find the exact car you want, you may have to pay a little more but you'll be a lot happier with that car rather than cruisin in your purple z28 wishing you were in that black ss m6 next to you. If you dont like it, dont buy it.

You could buy it and then trade it with someone from the board who has the car you want. Win win situation there.

I think 98 Fbodys are the only cars i'd buy in purple.. The WS6 in BPM looks awsome, An SS hood would look awsome on it..

I think the color will grow on you, if it has a clean carfax I think
it would be a great deal.

84 Trans Am coupes
42 Trans Am verts
26 Formulas

10 coupes and 2 verts with the WS6 package.

I have one of the 10 WS6s, and one of the 26 Formulas.

Naw, I'm kinda purpled out right now... I wouldn't buy another one. Purple really isn't my favorite color, I bought my cars because I wanted something that was unusual.

I'm not really a Camaro guy.

No, I'm not a sponsor here, I'm one of the co-owners of LS2.COM.

You might be confusing me with Jantzer who also had a BPM '98 Formula M6... he used to be a sponsor here. His car was originally owned by a guy who goes by the handle Matt 98 Formula on my site and LS1.COM.

My Formula is an A4, I bought it from a LS1.COM/LS2.COM user who goes by by the handle of Gwydion.

It's actually a very sharp looking color... pictures don't do it much justice. I think people who say it "sucks" either haven't seen it or have some kind of weird hangup about the color.

I don't think this sucks:

No I had you in mind, just forgot that you were the co-owner of the other site and not a sponsor on here. Camaros tend to grow on you if you let them.
