go check out the time spesific forums (11sec club, 10sec club) I think they have lists of what they have done to their cars.

yeah there are people here who regularly hit 11's on DD's. Often though, it is through the use of nitrous or FI. Otherwise economy is pretty highly reduced... But it can be done if you dont mind very poor gas mileage...

While I don't daily drive my car, I could if I wanted to. Heads/cam/small shot of nitrous with the supporting bolt-ons will give you enough HP to cut 10s NP. My car usually takes a couple mintues to settle into a happy idle, but my gas mileage is still above 20mpg.

Good luck getting info. I have found that people will help you alot to get into the 13's, 12's even. Once you start scraping the low 12's/high 11's a wierd thing happens. Less people either know or want to help you.
I know that 11 sec et's are "earned" by dropping a fair amount of coin not to mention the endless trials endured. It is information that is not easily given out by those who endured the road to get there.
I been putzing around in the low 12's with high 11 sec mph for 2 years. With traction the combo in my 2nd gen should go low 11's. Getting it there will not easy.
Going fast isn't as easy as just making more horsepower. If you can't run in the 12's now, then jumping into a 10 sec car is a bad mistake. Life isn't a movie and you can "feel free" without running 10's. LOL
You would probably be just as happy running 12's. But you just can't brag to your buddies that you have a 10 sec car. Sorry but when I hear people ask such a broad question, I have to ask "why", "who are you doing this for?".
My point is that people need to learn to walk before they run

a friend of mine has 01 procharged SS M6, 620RWHP, with heads, blower cam and 10lbs. of boost the car has full suspension and hes runnin nittos drag radials on zr1 spoke wheels. He drives the car all the time and could drive it everyday cuz it does get decent mpg. Right now it only runs mid 11's because of the 6 rib belt setup and the car isnt holding the boost and thows the blower belt about everyweek (this car should be runnin low 11's/high10's). Hes got the 8 rib setup now and were getting ready to install it and next time he runs hes gonna run drag lites so it should get in that 10 sec range and it could be a decent/ practical/badass daily driver

You don't need any type of FI to run 11's. There's a guy in this site that I have seen run an 11.9 w/a 1.8 60' with just bolt ons and a 12 bolt in a 6-spd 99 Trans Am at Atco.

Edit - Didn't read the low 11's part.

im in the 12's now. But at the track everybody is runnin nitrous, and they're only gettin down the track....some a sec. some less. I want to catch them with just horsepower. Dont want to shoot it just yet. I have all the bolt on's..Thunder racing 220/220 cam, 2800 stall.. slp 85ml mass air sensor, lid, ported throttle body, longtubes, and intake. Dont know what else to do. any help would be appreciated. Call about a bigger cam, and they said it wouldnt do me any good so what do i do?

i would say if u want a daily and to be in the 11s or so might as well hook up a set of nitrous. wont affect drivability and u use it when u want to. sounds cool
EDIT: now i see u dont want N O S
might as well throw a large cam in it and match it with a huge stall. Slicks / skinnies? and some weight reduction?
