yeah i'd imagine it's not too hard with people changing grills alot, you might have to take off the front bumper to do that though which is not really too difficult at all. if you want more pictures of mine without the grill pm me.

I run into this same problem....alot.

it led me to do the following over time..

1. Lowered the car
2. bought and installed halos
3. bought and installed clear corners
4. painted calipers red
5. put in rear inserts
5. ALOT ALOT of cleaning and claybar and waxing.

I wonder how noticeable those tabs would be on a black Z28...hmm...

I think the stock grille is fugly as hell, it looks pretty good behind there! I may have to do this...

yeah not bad huh? my friends (and dad ) were saying it looks like im missing something..but they must have no really seen the "sea bass" look. but my other buddy who is looking for a T/A says it looks good. it WAS a bitch to take out though. i was able to pull all the bottom 3 pins out then eventually the top 3 came undone.
oh and im sure the holes wont even be noticeable on a black car

You could also jack her up in the rear, remove the tires, give your wheel wells a good scrubbing a paint them with POR-15. One thing that burns my is nice clean suspension parts and a dirty, rusty axle.

I did my rear axle and rear wheel wells on both my '99 and '92. Makes a world of difference. You can either use POR-15 (black) or POR-15 Chassis Coat.

I can takes some pics of mine tomorrow if you want and email them to you.

Wont cost you too much money....under $50.00.
