I went to radio shack and bought a 3.7 KOhm resistor, 1/4 watt i believe. i plugged the ends into the IAT plug. i plugged in HP tuners and it shows that i have a constant 55-57 degree temperature reading. u can get resistors cheap as hell. dont go any lower than this temp though, because car will stay in open loop mode i think it is, and it will run rich as hell

dude those tornados add like 15 HP lol, sticking one of those things in the Bellow would restrict air flow IMO.

ya that thing is a resistor chip tricks the PCM that its like 40 degrees outside, its a waist of money even if its a buck. dont do it! Plus u can buy those at radioshack

I bought one of those a few years ago on ebay for $5 and put it in my Eclipse before I knew any better. 20hp in less than 2 mintues for $1. hahaa

Here's the way I look at all these gadgets. If the manufacturer could increase horsepower by 30-40 by adding a chip that would cost them a penny or two and it's safe, why wouldn't they? If they could increase gas mileage by adding a shaped piece of metal to the intake, magnets to the fuel lines, or make your car run on water (for under $50) why wouldn't they? Think of the revenue they'd make if these scams really worked. All of the sudden cars would run faster and get crazy high MPG's for a tiny investment. I somehow don't think billion dollar companies would pass that up.
