It is. 6.0L cam. That's the reason for GM using the LS6 (EGRless) intake on the 01-02s.

I would like to know more on the 00 with 4XX miles. As long as they are started up every now and then I don't see a reason not to look into it. How was it stored, in the weather, or in a climate controlled garage? Modded at all? Will this be a DD? I'd buy it and park it in a garage.

If mid 70 "Muscle Cars" are going for big bucks today then I definitely see a future survivor in the mists. I don't care what the no-sayers say. In 25 years or so these 4th gen cars (especially with options like 1LE) will demand big coinage in "better then good", great, to pristine shape.

If you don't buy the 00, I would appreciate if you would pass the info on it to me.

I can foresee a similar trend with fourth-gen that have "period correct" modifications (i.e. SFC's, air lid, LT's, etc.). The reason I say this is most of the folks on this site are modding their cars

02... I'd take black on black, LS6 intake and ram air hood over lower miles anyday.

Unless, of course, they're in radically differing conditions.

I'd take the 02, even tho I'm with the guy on page 1 about the 01-02 WS6 wheels. It'd have some Welds on it soon.

'02 for sure if you want to drive it at all. If you have an extra $18500 laying around to purchase the '00 and leave it covered in a climate controlled environment then I'm sure it would be a good investment, but personally I want to drive my TA.

I'd go with the '02 as well. If you get the '00, you'll want to drive it, then it'll lose value quick. Unless you're going to put it in the garage and just look at it, go with the WS6. Besides, they're quicker and better looking IMO.

i dont actually agree that WS6's are quicker but ok. i do agree with you on the driving the 00 though. I have an 00 with 14,000 on it and thats low and i feel bad for driving it. i couldnt imagine what id do with a car that had 450. id roll 1k and flip on myself. if you want a garage piece, get the 00, im a personal fan of white. if you want to DD this thing, get the 02 for sure. i have to disagree with everyone on the black on black thing though. it looks good, but god, 50% of all ram air t/as were black in 02. SOM, red, Midnight blue, those are beautiful colors. in the end dude, get what you want, its your choice and you have to drive it.
