alright i work at a dealership and we got a 97 T/A in with ~58K miles on it. its a 6 spd lether t tops black..........no monsoon but power everything good paint good tires drives good. they were gonna put 14k on it and put it on the lot but they said they could let me have it for 10,700......i have found a 98 camaro Z28 with 83k miles on it hardtop no lether with all the options besieds the monsoon for 8500. im thinkin the LS1 is a better choice than the LT1 but the LT1 has less miles and its a T/A.....what do you think

I love LT1's and all but if you look up dealer trade in on what they put into the deal. It sure wasn't $10k. Unless they heavily stepped into that trade to sell the new car I'd say they've got 6k in it.
Here's the Kelly Blue Book Value on trade in in excellent condition with all options not including WS6 or monsoon. The photo listed is a WS6. Even if they put it in the shop to fix stuff they don't have 10 fuggin' thousand in it. They are wanting to rape you in the butthole! And YOU WORK FOR THEM!!!
More Photos Condition Value
Excellent $6,150
(Selected)
Good $5,680
Fair $4,875

the guy traded it in on a 00 vette FRC. i seen the paperwork from the filing cabnet......the trade in value on it is 10,700 the price on the FRC was 21,900, he financed the rest. the lot markup was 14,500.
yes they are trying to rape me on this deal. im not going for it. i like the 98+ camaro better than the 97- T/A's. + the camaro is an LS1
