Offer 7, but 8k doesn't sound too bad to me if it has been well taken care of.

Haha, it's amazing how much things change...

I found a Formula for the same amount of coin with 30,000 less miles, and is all stock. Looks pretty clean, and even has Monsoon.

Might happen after all...

Only problem I have is the fact that it has 93-97 V6 tails on it. So I don't know if that means something bad or not. I'll have them get me a CarFax, at least. Maybe I can get my buddy to go with me.

It's only 19 miles away, so I'll let you guys know tomorrow where we're at.

Anyone know of good places to sell a car fairly quickly? There's this '99 Z that has only 30,000 miles on the clock that I want to grab up, that is only $11,000. I might even be able to talk him down some. Problem is, he's a private seller, and I don't know if he's gonna go for a Ranger. I heard Carmax will buy cars even if you don't buy from them, but would they try to rip you off more than any dealership? Thanks.

Just a little update. I found this place in Tampa, they have a nice 2000 Z28 (fully loaded, 50,000 miles on it, asking $11,900. I gave it a once-over, and it appears to be completely stock). I went out to drive it yesterday, and his jaw kind of dropped when he saw what I was wanting to trade in for it (a very clean 2005 Ranger with 16,000 miles on the clock). He offered me $10,500 on the trade in, but I'm holding out for at least $12,000. The engine ran very smooth, the paint was in very good shape except for the bumpers, but he said that he would paint them free of charge. I just hope he has the correct color....

That stock exhaust kind of has an odd tone to it, I noticed, as well.

The factory exhaust its mostly designed to meet noise requirements, so its rather quiet and the tone is kind of weird.

Throw on an aftermarket catback, and it will sound a hell of a lot better, not to mention much louder
