91, like the manual says (can't get any 93, or I'd use that)

93 is what I use. It is best for the 10.1 : 1 compression.

93 octane. I have a BP card, and they offer 87, 89 and 93.

Run 91 or you will be sorry
If you can only get 90 like here in New Mexico get a octane booster at the ZONE.

quick question on this subject. I always put 91 or 93 in, however, I'll be driving my car from florida to michigan, doing a lot of cruising in 6th gear at 80 mph. Due to the cost of gas, you think I should still run 91 even at low rpm's on the highway or could I drop it down to 89 just for the trip?

I'd recommend atleast going with 91. It only takes one bad knock to melt a motor...

The increased mpg w/ the premium will almost always offset the extra cost. Keep the motor happy and just run the premium.

It seems to me that when putting lower octane in the car knocks at lower rpm's more than high. i experimented with 89 when i first got the car, but now always use 93 due to the fact that it would knock in low rpm's with 89.

When gas is already at $3 a gallon, what's an extra 20 cents? Go 93. Since your car is tuned for high octane, you'll likely get better gas mileage out of it.

91 or above otherwise you risk damaging the motor.

I stick in 95RON or 97RON, although the 97 costs more I get more miles to the gallon out of it, so it pretty much balances out.
$3 is good value if you compare it to what people pay in Europe.
