Ok so im looking at buying this 1999 SS but there is one problem there is one problem there is no WU8 on the rpo so here is my question was there ever an alternative code and if its not a true ss is it still worth buying

No alternative code. As to whether it's worth buying or not, that's up to you... depends on the price and how much you want the SS hood and spoiler (it does have those, right?). I like the hood and spoiler, so if it's cheap I'd go for it... but if the seller is claiming it's an SS, I bet they're overcharging for it too.

it is red and yes has the hood and spoiler it has been taken care of very well (only driven on nice days and weekends )and the price is $9600

Not a bad price, but you have some good leaverage knowing its not an SS so you can bargin.
