Do SS's have a "tuned suspension" oposed to Z28

That is a definite possibility. My '00 car was a late build (May '00, ASC conversion on 5/23/00), it even had the 241 heads of the '01+ cars. That might explain why the shock/spring part numbers that came up for the car's late model year VIN were the same as Z28/Formula numbers. I'm certain my '00 WS6 didn't have the '98 thru early '00 'full upgrade' WS6/SS suspension package, only the bigger front sway bar of the other '00+ WS6 cars.

i got 17 and 18 inch z06's on my car and while they definately helped in the body roll department my moms ws6 still feels a lot better/tighter.

My 01 Z28 was ordered with the 'Performance Ride and Handling Package' and it is identical to your SS. I have compared my car with other SS owners cars and could find no difference at all.

You could order a Z-28 with various options and the upgraded suspension was one of them...

I still have the factory options 'menu' from when I bought my Z new. Let me know if you need to see it or need any info off of it.
