Default slp lid

i just put on slp lid, maf, and bellow. now my lid wont stay on. the clips keep poping off.. any clue on what is going on?

Loosen everything...push it all together...make sure the lid is pushed back all the way into the tabs.

might try bending the clips to be a little straighter

The front of the lid needs to be on the inside of the air box. The clips will be hard to close, but they wont come off again.

I had the same problem as you, and that was the easy fix.

My whisper lid was a tight fit - like said above make sure the upper lip of the lid is behind the lower lip of the air box - forgot to mention it earlier. It'll get easier to take off/put back on without having problems once it's been on the car a while.

I had the same exact problem. I had to trim the bellows. Mine would pop off whenever I reved the engine. Trimmed the bellows on the TB side and 2+ years later it has never popped off.

THE LIP FROM THE LID GOES ON THE INSIDE OF THE FILTER BOX? DIDNT SEE THAT COMEING. IS IT JUST THE FRONT OR ALL THE WAY AROUND?

i got it figed out,, i just took a razorblade and cut a slot in it for the clips to set into. now it fits tight and wont move. thanks everyone

Just the front. Took me a while to figure it out, too.

Push down and in twards the MAF (on the lid) as hard as you can while you secure the clamp conecting the lid and MAF
