people buy an SS/WS6 for 4 reasons:

-better suspension
-nicer hood
-better designed exhaust
-ram air

they then go on to:

-upgrade suspension
-get a catback/true duals
-upgrade their ram air to FTRA or SSRA

so they just effectively paid 5 grand extra for a hood. i can put a hood on my car for a grand, painted, look the same as a WS6, run just as good and pay 4 grand less. fake WS6's are far smarter economically. i can do fine without WS6 on my driver door panel. i intend to keep my car forever anyway.

granted WS6's and SS's look awesome, you can make your own for a lot less.

Yup. why bother with the ss or ws6 if youre gonna mod the car, you end up just removing everything you paid all that extra money for. Having said that...i wouldnt mind one bit if my car said SS instead of z28, but is it worth the extra. thats up to you

I opted for the SS and I'm glad I did.

M6 too.

Look for all that was stated already like headlight motors, warped rotors, antennae motor yada, yada, yada....also look for rear main seal leaks and pinion seal leaks on rear end....heard these r common on f body's. U will love the power and torque of these rides.....be careful in the rain, #1 F body killer

ive worked on a scene before where a guy was actually in a tree about 40 yards from his camaro, after he hydroplaned off the highway....the hose toaters tried to tell us the ejection killed him...my friend told him the "nah, im gonna say hitting the oak at 100mph probably did him in"
