ws6, m6, automatic differences
What is the difference between a WS6, M6 and T-56 in relation to the 98 to 02 Trans Ams??? I am new to this and am looking to buy soon... What differences do the cars have other than a manual rather than an auto?
Thanks Russ

The T-56 is the manual transmission in all M6 F-bodies. The WS6 is a package for the Trans Ams that included the Ram Air Hood, 17" wheels and less restrictive exhaust. It was available with both manual and automatic transmissions.

So are ALL ram air models the WS6 package regardless of auto or manual?? meaning if it is a ram air is it the ws6 package.. I always thought WS6 meant manual..6 speed.. Russ
