A co-worker of mine bought a 2001 Z06 with a salvage title. The car looks perfect and it was modded as well. He flew down to California and paid 15k for this black beauty. He drove it back to Washington state @ speeds of 140+ mph. This was last year and it still drives and runs like new. He is very happy he did this

i bought mine in february w/ a salvage title. i did alot of tracking down and actually spoke with the insurance company that totalled it and it was because of the previous owner hitting a manhole, busting the oil pan and the motor locked up. Replaced the engine been loving it ever since.
