Differences bwtween 98-02 Looking at getting an LS1 TA. Hopefully a WS6.
Anyways... What changes were made between 98-02. I know in 01 they switched to Ls6 intakes. What other changes were made? What year did they start coming with 17"s instead of 16" wheels?

well in 01 they put better heads on the car and they ported out the throttle bodies out a bit more, they put the ls7 intake on, they change to IRIS.. They almost turbod them. the lids are .002 more velocity!
thats all the things i can think off the top of my head.
oh and bigger tires, i think a 305 or 307 i cant remb.

i hope you were just joking. if you werent, then you just made yourself sound stupid, but funny.
well, back to the subject at hand, the 01-02 models came with an LS6 manifold, no egr cuz of a better cam, and i think i read somewhere that they came with the ls6 block. im not sure if thats true or not. i think they started coming with 17's starting in 2000 cuz my TA is a 00' and its got em. other then that, read the sticky like stated above. everything i said was true...whats the big deal? i mean so what if the 98-00 were 40rwhp faster, the 2001+ look so much better! i mean a 5.3 is a 5.3 and theres no 2 diffrences about it! so just buy a "hotcam" which is the biggest cam for ls3's and you will be unstopable!!!
make sure to buy a 2000 just becuase it came with a rear cup holder!

as far as i know the cams were different, i think heads got bigger ports on the 241 heads, the ls6 intake got put on, 5% in 01+ were ls6 heads cam/block. as far as that im not to sure what else was diffferent.
