Question front license plate holder- how to take it off?

I have a 2000 Firebird and I just moved to a state that requires front license plates. I was wondering if someone could please tell me how to take off the front license plate cover (with the bird impression)? I know the top portion is held by two clips, and can be unhooked by pressing down, but how does the bottom part of it release? Thanks.

there are two tiny screws on the bottom of the cover, look inside the gap that surrounds it.

If i remember correctly the two little screws along the bottom of the cover require a star bit to remove.

they are T-25, or T-15 screws cant remember which one it is, but one of the two. Bummer dude, i live in Illinois, same issue here,,,i left it on as long as i could,,,i think it was 2 or 3 months, then got busted at the freakin hardware store,,,i put it back on when at shows, races, etc. Sux that we have to remove the only bird on the ride.
