Default How Fast?

Well ive been wondering for awhile now about how fast my car really is. And before anyone says anything, I know I should take it too the track to find out. To be honest i havent had the time with my job, and Ive had some mechanical issuse this summer so I hope to go in the beginning of October. My car is a 2000 ss m6, with a 224 cam, slp loudmouth, stock y, and stock cats, 125 wet shot, suspension, mt et streets, ls7 clutch, ls2 flywheel, and a dreaded stock 10 bolt for now. The car makes 466 rwhp and 525 rwtq. Ive used the 1/4 mile calculator on this site and it said 11.65. Now being a m6 i think thats pretty close to what ive seen. But ive also seen people with 400hp and 400 plus tq going very low 11s. I think theres a shot with the torque that i make i might be able to hit the low 11s. Any thoughts are apprecaited. Thanks. Oh yeah when i go to the track iam not going to be afriad to launch the **** outta it. If it breaks Oh well

those cars you saw in low 11s had some weight reduction

high 11s sounds about right tho (assuming you can drive)

honestly with a suspension, tires and a 125 shot i would hope for 11.9's....so with your other stuff i would say mid 11s shouldnt be a problem unless you break your rear and or can't 60 to save your life

My opinion is that with an average driver I'd expect high 11s. With the right driver and slicks (provided that the rear end doesn't snap and you have upgraded suspension components ta, lca, etc.) I bet high 10s are possible with a VERY good launch. Heck you could still be in the 12s if you can't get the power to the ground effectively and cut a crappy 60 foot.
