Post this question and a GP forum, and I think they will still all say get the T/A! Have you ever driven an LS1.... once you do I'm sure you'll forget what a GP even is

After owning both.....Im trying to get rid of my 99 GTP and buy either another f-body or a vette. 300RWHP in the TA definately kicks it/RWD!!!!! i have basic mods to the GTP and it isnt a rocket, but its not a slouch either. I have heard very good things about the turbo GTs, but personally i blew my 4 gear in my tranny almost all STOCK and at just under 100K mi. If i was to do it again, id go straight for the V8!! LOL, the girls do like the roomy back seat tho I do however sometimes prefer the GTP cause you can park it anywhere and not really worry, If I have the TA, its parked where I can seee it!

there's a reason GM is using a gen IV V8 in their top trim Grand Prix, Impalas, and Monte Carlos, and it isn't just for bragging rights. Simple fact is, the L67, inspite of being blown it still can't pickup power anywhere near as well and reliably as a V8, even a 5.3L one. The only reason to ever make the step backward is if insurance is just too much for you for some reason. LS1>>>>L67
