Are you guys pulling the motor?

Id run a set of Mahle pistons and Manley H-beam rods 6.125".

Right there you will have right at 1200 or so in that. Then all new bearings, rings, and head gaskets will run you about 200 if you shop around. machine work shouldnt be more then 450ish. Spend the rest on whatever you wish. Hit me up if you need a good machine shop recommendation.

why would you want to rebuild a inferior product. What are you planing on doing with the car in the future? FI your planning on n2o or f.i. or hc..you should look into building the motor now, why do something twice?
