Give me the VIN and I can tell you.

What Year is the Car ?
`96-`97 WS6's were done by SLP.
`98 -up Cars are done by GM. The hood was supplied by ASC
LT1 Cars have their RPO sticker in the glove box
LS1's are on the Drivers door.

huh?

And that explains how I have an e-mail from Marty @ascglobal.com sending me the following information on my car.

5/29/2003
Hi Ryan, Sorry for the delay.

According to our records, your vin XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is a red 1998 Trans AM. It was converted by ASC on March 28, 1998 and was our build number 370.

The 1998 model year breakdown is:
3083 WS6s built
2701 coupes
849 red

With your specific combination (red coupe) we built 563

I hope this information is helpful. Thanks for your paitence.
