yea, but the truth is both cars with the basic mods you listed will be relaible and will be aroudn the same quickness, you can always make the power you want with either car, just buy the one YOU like better

well it seems from my research the cobra is pretty much maxed out at around 650rwhp without going turbos and it seems that the internals on the vette can can only withstand up to around 550 or so and that seems to be pushing it....am I correct?

Ive ridden in a 450rwhp cobra and I was pretty impressed....I just want a car that has IRS for sure as I dont care about the strip very rarley race there...

Do the z06s and nitrous mix good together? I wont be using it all the time, just every now and then for a street race and maybe at the track every now and then...what shot can be safely run?

Those are some of the questions im trying to accomplish with this thread

As for nitrious, I would say a 150 shot, properly set up would be safe for the zo6. Check out the nitrous section for better details. Good Luck
