I DD my T/A in all weather (except ice) it's comfortable gets 22mpg (on average) so FWIW I wouldn't have any qualms about getting one for a DD
Like most cars they have their quirks that you'll get used to (long hood line is the biggest PITA IMO) but I'm used to it now

My brother had made a deal on a new 06 GTO but didn't find the seats comfortable. Ditched it and bought an 02 WS6 and drove it from AL to CA without a complaint. We both find our cars very comfortable.

The C-pillar is thick and that causes some visibility issues in tight parking garage situations, but otherwise it is fine. You get used to it. The poor turning circle is the only issue I have. My 69 GTO will make a tighter turn.

I DD my Firebird, love it, and wouldn't have it any other way (except in ice and snow).

I've been daily driving LS1 f-body cars for 7 years now, they are just fine.

Drive both cars and see which one you like best, and I can't believe nobody mentioned the recall on the 99 Cobra for lack of ponies they claimed!

Peace,
Craig.

i drove both before buying an f-bod and yes the cobra's interior is a little bit nicer but i think the firehawk is more comfortable. Its like drivin around in a recliner. My only complaint is the rear end........but i guess most cars are going to need a new rear end eventually anyways if you plan on modding.

Blind spots don't exist when you drive faster than everyone else.

You don't need to worry about it unless you have alot of power and drag race alot (getting traction).

Peace,
Craig.

I've owned two Stangs and the interiors are about the same as the F-body in terms of quality. The shifter position in the Stang sucks, but visibility is a little better.
I daily drove my bolt-on Z28 for a year and it was butter.

I daily drive my z28 and i love it. Like somebody else said the only time the blind spots a pain is in a parking garage. Overall its really comfortable and i love it for my daily driver.
