Well my best friend with an 02 gt beat an evo from a roll, and then that evo beat a c6 vette, but the c6 vette then beat an 03 cobra, but that same 03 cobra beat a gsxr-1000, and I can beat my best friends 02 GT, so therefore I can beat a gsxr-1000....

i think when he said "z" he was still referring to the 350z in which case an f-body will win 99% of the time and with more than 2 cars.

what difference does it make if it was 15 car lengths or 800 car lengths its all null and void for reasons stated by others earlier, just because somebody beats a civic who beat a 'busa because the guy may or may not have missed every gear doesnt mean the original guy can beat that 'busa also, to many variables

ok, I have heard all this talk about how drivers make the difference, and I agree. The only question since I am pretty new to this, is what do you do as a driver to make the difference? I mean if you are talking the 1/4 or the 1/2, its still a straight line. So driving in a straight line isn't the difference. Say you have two stock cars that are running the same HP out of the factory, and car A beats car B by 5 car lengths. What did car A do better or differently?

the 1/2? i didnt know there were any 1/2 mile tracks lol. drivers make the difference by launch skill, speed of shifting, knowing when to shift, throttle control, all that comes into play. its not like all drivers drive equally and if i ran a 11.00 in the 1/4 in my car, that doesnt mean youll run the same thing.

LOL ok guys this has become rediculous, ill post the vid up and than ull agree with me tht it was a SSMOKE!! and yes the driver is everything when it comes to a race, but the funny part is i was just flooring it and shifting slow. And im dynoeing not a stock ss, im expecting it to push out around 380-400 horses. And just to clarrify something, Brandon the exige-s has a supercharger in it, making it faster than the elise. Once i get the vid up ill post it and u guys can determine the "bus lengths" of the race lol

exactly. there is no way you will be dynoing at these numbers unless you have a cam or heads. but if your wanting to believe that you will, then get ready to be greatly disappointed. if everyone was running those numbers stock, then we would all be in the 400 rwhp range with just a small cam. do some research before more people find out about this thread.
