Get a FlowPak then.
That way you get the lid, the smoth below (although it doesn't do anything besides make the lid a little tougher to install) a K&N style filter AND metal ducting that draws nice cool air from the bottom of the car.

Just make sure you cut the hole for the ducting first.
If you cut the hole for the lid according to the cheap *** photo copies of the install instructions, you'll end up with a much larger hole that you need. When you install the ducting, you'll see the area where you trimed a few inches past the flange of the ducting. =\

 

have u ever wondered y it got more dirty?maybe cuz air was sucked threw tht spot! which means more air than before lol...just get a k&n and snap the 2 clips spray it out 7 minutes later u have a clean filter and still more air
