with the stall ide say get a transgo HD2 shift kit with a better servo and you have to get a tranny cooler. suspension is a big thing, you'll lose alot of power through crappy stock and worn out suspension parts.the lids dont really matter just get the cheapest one, i think SLP. with the nitrous ide recommend a better MAF and possible TB. just my $.02

the hotcam is a really mild cam. I'd go with something bigger, you won't regret it.

well you are gonna need new springs and pushrods with a new cam.

www.Ls1sounds.com has a lot of different sound clips, try searching around for one.

I think you will regret getting the hot cam. Its a very mild cam like stated above. I would do a search on different cams but a 224 cam would be good too.

I would at least get a 224. Its a proven performer and a very good DD cam. A buddy of mine has a 224 and his car runs strong. He does a ton of driving every week.

Check the sponsors for springs. (TSP) If they are the stock pushrods i dont think you can reuse them. But you should search the internal section to find some answers. Check out the 224R from Tsp and TR224 from thunder racing.

Haha, I bet, but I agree, the hot cam leaves a lot to be desired. A TR 224 is a relatively mild cam, but performs nicely, and gives a nice compromise of power and daily driveability.

You're going to want to run a 224 cam or similar to be worth it switching cams, at least that's what you're going to hear from everyone around here...also wait till you get a cam for a tune, unless you want to tune for all the boltons and forget the cam.

I would get the exhaust done first. Good headers and true duals will run you around ~$1500-2000, money well spent.

You can then start on intake mods like ls6 intake manifold and ported TB and of course don't forget about a lid.

Some people will say get a stall first (along with tranny cooler and shift kit) but it's a matter of opinion and I believe exhaust and intake should be the first mods.
