Yep. You can always get the DTC cleared sometime down the road though.

I bought some block-off plates from a website but I don't think they are a sponsor. And they are too thin so you either have to get a lot shorter bolts than stock, or put the end off of each pipe and use that to act like a spacer and bolt down the plate. So instead of spending like $9 a piece for those, just use some metal and bolt it down..or hell..make it bling bling and put a quarter under there

Right. Like I said earlier, the "block off plates" are really thin and you either have to get smaller bolts or use the piece of the original tube. The piece of silver metal is the thin plates. If I would have known that earlier I wouldn't have wasted $18 and made something myself..which I had to do anyways.

If the check engine light bothers you...you can try to find someone near buy that has HPTuners for your year car and they might delete the codes for free? Or some shops charge $75 to turn them off.

Or if you plan on getting your car tuned just wait til you do that and have the shop turn everything off.

I was deleting the air and the rubber tube that runs from the left side of the motor to the ride side of the motor directly below that, there is a plastic tube inside a rubber house. This tube runs from the back right valve cover around behind the engine and goes into the intake manny on the left hand side. This tube broke when I was doing the !air...what is this tube????

i cut up a license plate and used them as block off plated worked great for a couple of months then i got off road headers. find an old license plate cheapest way to get a block off plate. also i didnt way the a.i.r but it decreases quite a bit of wait. make sure you take the pump and everything else out. also while your at it if u dont have emission get rid of the egr. it is so simple to do these two mods and it cleans up the engine bay very nicely. if u take the egr out and u have the hole in the intake just use a freezer plug i beleive it is 3/8 but ull prolly have to search that

Yeah, w/ the EGR delete, you need a 1-3/8" Rubber expansion plug. You can find them at Autozone or any other decent auto parts store. It costs less than $3.
