Hey all...
I just bought my 96 LT1 bird...and I got 2 fobs with the car but they both dont work....so, I ran down to radioshack popped 2 new c2032 batteries (those suckers arnt cheap for batteries!)..and it still doesnt work!
The guy I got the car from claims they were working until he went to replace the batteries in the fobs once and then they didn't work after he replaced the batteries the first time...any ideas? Im totally lost at this...tried all the buttons on the fobs, flipped the battery around just in case...still nothing...

Make sure they're the right remotes first - http://autotechs.com/fcc/fccidsearch.htm If they are just try reprogramming them.

You mean the PN? Just went there and the only difference I saw in the remotes (both ABO1502T) was one had a panic button, one didn't? Same PN so don't know? Sometimes when replacing the batteries in the remote on the 98+ cars all the remote needs is to hold the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the door locks cycle/parking lights flash to resynchronize. Try that, if it doesn't work I'd try reprogramming them from scratch.
