Check the link, but a catch can is a device that goes inline with your intake oil system, to catch oil that would otherwise get into your intake. It might not actually reduce oil consumption, since it just catches the oil that escapes, but it will prevent oil from getting into your intake. You can buy a catch can from ebay for a reasonable amount also, that's what I did, if you don't want to make one.
