Default Running car without O2 Sensors? bad for it

Just curious as I had the longtube headers installed on my vechicle and no O2 sensors because it wouldnt reach on the longtubes.... was just wondering if the vehicle doesnt run all that great without them.... or any better with them? I ordered some in.... was just curious if it actually made a difference other then just turning off the check engine light.

you need them just get exstensions, you can put sims in th rear to keep the light off or delete the mils. you can tune a car not to use any o2s as thats how mine was tuned last

I would imagine that it would run horribly pig-rich.

Your car needs to see what the o2s are doing so that it can adjsut the fuel. Ya, you need em.

For all part throttle acceleration your computer uses the 02 sensors to calculate air/fuel ratio. So one way to drive around not having 02 sensors installed is to go everywhere WOT. That way it will use the tables to calculate your ratio.

Just Kidding! You need your O2s! They do come into play only at part throttle though...
