Im not saying what you did was against the rules and personally i dont think it should get locked. And as far as ebay being a store, I was talking about the many(thousands) of stores and vendors on ebay.

So how can i tell if the rotors from these places are or are not drilled thru the ribs? should i just call them up or email the sellers? i think if i ask, they're gonna lie just to sell the product

Asking is good. You might look at there website. Most of the companys that drill in between the ribs will say it right on the website.

ICRAZY6 is right, but typically, the more expensive ones are done this way, whereas the cheaper ones are just drilled on a press, no consideration to ribs.

i would say that most ebay drilled rotors are cheaper, and drill through the ribs, i know that powerstop rotors are done right, and thus id stick with them. I originaly bought some drilled rotors through pep boys, but when i saw that they were driled through the ribs they went right back.

**i reference pep boys only to show what NOT to buy, so hopefully i dont break the forums rules, im not promoting that store what-so-ever)

My eBay rotors are specific left/right castings and aren't drilled through any cooling fins. They're done right. Some people cannot believe that an inexpensive part is actually functional and manufactured correctly.

If you want drilled and slotted rotors for apperance then that is your call, but they are not the best selection for performance. You can save money and aggrivation by reading this: Link

I know our stock rotors leave much to be desired but you might be looking in the wrong direction.

Unless you're considering buying from Daniel Short... AKA: 98slowt/a

Then expect 'troubles shipping' and no tracking number... then expect him to NEVER reply to you pm's. ANd the kicker... he'll string you along just enough past the 45 days of protection over by ebay. Then you'll never here anything from him.

Thanks to my first buying experience with him... I have a hard time buying anything from anyone else than a shop/store like the excellent sponsors here.

But they also were selling on ebay way before becoming a sponsor.
There is still risk buying here regardless of user or company's status. I got burned by TCS Converters a former sponsor on here. Others have also been burned by a list of former sponsors here. So there still is an inherent risk purchasing over the internet.

Personally, I wouldnt trust em. I bought the rotors off www.ws6store.com for $169 for all four and I have had them on there for about 4k and I havent had any problems yet (#knock on wood##). I have used them in all weather conditions so far as well, and these suckers stop on a dime. My 60-0 distance improved alot!!
