Also, mine stops at around 35mph. Sound similar?
Could someone explain this "spun bearing" possibility? Where is it? How much would it cost to fix? etc.

ok, sorry i couldnt resist.
when someone says a spun bearing, they are usually reffering to either a rod bearing, main bearing or cam bearing. all of which require the engine to be totally torn down, or atleast damn close to it.

holding it at like 6 grand in donuts BAD.. spun bearings throwing rods whatever.. when u do a donut ur suppose to go from 3k-6k letting the rpms go up and down in a burnout with the brakes drop it up and down or just go through the gears just dont keep it up high you will **** up lifters, rods, bearings

LS1s are STRONG neer bullet proof engines, I don't think that a simple burnout, even bouncing off the rev limiter, would hurt them that much if at all. The whining sound is most likely your power steering pump. Leave it. Tell people you have a blower @ 15 psi ^^

115k miles (keep in mind, it IS rebuilt, one drive would assure you of that)
The car runs 100%. Heres the list of upgrades I have done (probably gonna forget a few... oh well.)
Engine was rebuilt at around 80k miles
I rebuilt the transmission not more than a thousand miles ago. This cost me about 3 grand just for the rebuild and these guys did some serious stuff. It is GUARANTEED to handle 1000 HP or more with ease.

Hey hey, I didnt rebuild the engine... the guy that owned it before me was a psycho and beleived that anything over 100k miles was going to explode so he had a shop rebuild it... I asked him about it, he said nothing was wrong with it... the shop reported nothing wrong, he just had the money :/ (and was a psycho)

Horsepower TV's LS GUN Project!!! The reason they rebuilt it was because of a late night burnout with a few other buddies and spun a bearing doing it. Gee, Wonder how i know that

The engine doesn't care if it is doing doughnuts or running at the track.
I never read the proper doughnut guide in the owners manual.

Dry reving(like you telling me to go put my tach on six thousand) an engine is not the same as reving it under a load. I put my tach at six thousand most ever couple of days and no problems. Its just an engine people its not like its something magical that God himself crapped out.
thanks for clarifying though. sorry i misunderstood.

correct me if i am worng, but wouldn't a spun bearing cause the oil pressure to be crappy? like really low, anyway after driving the crap out of my car it started sounding like it had a S/C on it, but it was just the lid not all the way on, so go figure.
