By looking at your track times, the person driving the Z's needs to learn how to drive. You running 13.2's should not be Smoking Z06's rather playing chase

An 03/04 Cobra

Or just a good sticky tire and a stall, IF HE IS STOCK. Take it to the track and your solid rear will walk his c5 all day long with a decent stall and sticky tire. Your car should be able to out perform his at the track in a dig, but say no to the roll-ons youll need much more bolt-ons for that. If you want to beat him at roll-ons youll need the mods listed above, full exhaust, lid, ud pullied and you should be able to pull him everytime.

But you don't have an M6...you got your self an A4. Stick to what their good at(A4) and keep the race with the C5 from a dig. Just my .02s!
Pretty much right on.

Vettes are not all that much faster than Fbodys. The only thing vettes have going for them is their lightweight and aerodynamic characteristics, but have the same drive train as the Fbody's.

Now Z06 is a different story but if you had the stall and nitrous you could easily beat a C5 Z06.
Nitro and stall!!!! ****..........I want some!

And when I say ok,.....that doesn't mean run'n equal. He had me right from the start. Roll racing IMO if you have an A4 isn't all that fun or interesting....M6 I think would be fun as **** tho!

When i had a Lid, catback, freemods on my M6 i was taking them out. A4s might be a lil different tho

This was when i had most bolt ons and 4.11s, and the C5 was a M6 as well
Click here to see Video and before anyone tries to call bs here or criticize, look at my sig. that 12.5 @ 111mph was before my LS6 intake too. and no i really dont spray. yet

oooohhhh brotha!!....yea,.theres a significant diff. ESPECIALLY from a roll!

M6: better than A4 from a roll
A4: better than M6 from a dig

.....thats just the way it is. I won't even bother racing from a roll anymore. I'll tell the guy "from the light!!!" if I wanna race!

My dad has a 2004 Z06 and we have raced quite a few times 10+ (both cars stock). To my suprise he only beats me in 3rd gear, and pulls about 2-3 car lanes in the 1/4. My car ran a 13.69 and all we could get his to run is a 13.48 (only had 3 runs w/ bad traction). I have seen stock Z06's run 12.8's-13.0's with Drag Radials, they have bad traction issuses without them. I will be running him as soon as I install my SSRA and Lid, I will have to see what happens then. I also ran a regular auto C5 about 3 weeks ago, he pulled out of the hole but didn't pull anywhere else. He beat me by about 1 car length, but who knows how good of a driver he was. I will be going to the track very soon so we will have to see what I will run with the new mods. I hope to race another C5 as soon as my mods are installed.

yea i have the same tires. the avon tech m550's. they are awesome for dry traction and can actually drive through rain and light snow without problems. better and cheaper than the pirelli's i was considering at first.
