I have a trans am 00' ws6 (high cam lift with headers) and i recently had an engine over haul.................. now when im at a stop my cam dies out which it turn kills my car and my exhaust sounds louder and cracky with some back fire and not a smooth deep tone like it once had?!?!? And suggestions? Could it be my lifters too tight?!?

 

who tuned your car?, how rich/lean is your car running?, what does the cam usually idle at?
