Why not? If you have a great motor, why not utilize it? Also, you do realize that the 4V Cobra/Mach engines are completely different than the 2V Bullit and GT engines, right? 4 valves per cylinder and 4 camshafts vs. 2 valves per cylinder and 2 camshafts. It's more than just a "block."

there i whipped ya in the nuts. I do LOVE cobra's. I thought about buying one but i'm just not a Ford guy. I owned a thunderbird SC and sold it less then a year later. I like how the Mach 1's sound and most mustangs but i just was never impressed when i drove them. They just don't have the *****. I've been able to just BARELY pull out a win against a Mach with intake and mufflers. I mean he was right at my door and the only reason that was is because i pulled off the line harder then he did and kept my lead. GT's unless pretty modded i handle pretty easily. and only ran into 1 '03 Cobra and was at his back tire to 100 mph. Didn't do too bad for a little the "POS" LT1. I like the Bullit's in the fact that they have NO spoiler. I like how the Stangs look without one on that style Stang. Or the Cobra spoiler 
I've only ran 1 bullitt and beat him pretty bad. My GTP when i had it killed the same one.

Bullitt Between me and my dad we have had 5 i had a green and a black one.and they are no bitch my black one just cai,programmed and that was it and i walked my budddies ls1 Z-28 with cai,headers.by like three cars they are no bitch.

BUilitts are just mustang gts with shitty mods good for about 15 more whp... And as for mach 1's vs ls1 fbodies... Lets get a bone stock 02 ss 6spd vs an 03 5p mach.. A stock mach 1 is as fast as a bone stock 04 gto. my car stock killed 04 gto's and mustang gts were just too easy... They are less car for the money bottom line but 03 cobras are different .

The owner of the Bullitt at our shop had a 3.73:1 gear, MagnaFlow Cat back, OffRoad Pipe (maybe long tubes as well, I'd have to check the car again), Nitto 305's, and Diablo hand held. I'm not going to say he could drive, but the best 1/4 mile he did was a 13.40. They were 5spd's, with limited production of around 4500. They were available in green, black, and grey. They were the first mustangs to have the hood scoop, and those rims, which were later added as standard on the GT's.

this is gonne get locked. its been discussed and tis over. the bullit is jsut an overpriced bitch GT with a few little turd mods done to it with added weight from the fancy body kit and crap with a fatter price tag for older men with small dicks.

Ok i have a new question. I was at a local hang out and this green mustang come driving up and notices my car . I walk over and start asking him about his car. He tells me that it was a 2003 cobra. He gets in his car and drives off. I look at the back bumper and i dont see the COBRA sign. i was unsure if he actually has a Cobra. do all CORBAs have this. thanks
