magnaflow or slp loudmouth
#21
I've go th the Magna but I run longtubes it sounds great, if I didn't have headers I would go with LM but it's depends on how loud you want it. I'd rather be fast than loud! There are a lot of stangs out there that are very loud and very SLOW.

i have LM1 on my Trans Am with heads, cam, shorite headers, cat and 3 inch all the way out the back and i love the sound. now i will admit it doesn't have much tone and it is a bit raspy but for the price and it will out perform any other exhaust its worth it. people always ask me how much and what kind of exhaust i spend and its amazing when i tell them its just a bullet muffler, magnaflow i have herd on a LT1 with Long tubes O/R x and it wasn't what i expected i didn't care for it.

I ran loudmouth I system with mac mids and ory. Sounded awesome but when I went big cam (cam in my sig) it was just plain rediculous. It sounded mean as hell but i couldnt drive anywhere without getting a headache and noticed by cops. if your thinking of going cam in the future check out my sig as there is a clip of the magnaflow with my mac mids, ory, and 232/238 cam.

I don't know about with long tubes and an off road Y, but with my stock headers and catted Y the Loudmouth 1 sounds f'n sweeeeeEEEET, I heard that with a catted Y and long tubes it takes most of the rasp away, and some of the volume to, I'll let you know in the summer months after I buy some

+1 for MagnaFlow. I don't like the LM1, but the LM2 sounds pretty good. The LM1 is really raspy. When I was test driving LS1's I drove one with a LM1 and a LM2, couldn't stand the LM1 but we all have different preferences.
