help sqeaky
New owner 98 T/A I know hatch sqeaks are common for the f-body, but does any one have any tips to quiet it down already adjusted the latch so it closes tighter? Or should i just opt for 1200 watts and a couple 12's to drowned out the sqeak. Also whats the best bang for the buck as far as clutches go, dont plan on any huge hp mods just some bolt ons. thanks

Try rubbing some dielectric silicon grease on your weatherstripping around the hatch. Not only will it help your weatherstripping last longer, it should wipe out the squeak.
The subs will make your taillights and everything else bolted to the back of the car vibrate like crazy. I did a lot of sound proofing to mine so it would sound like the car was going to fall apart and I wasn't puching anywhere near 1200 watts! Good luck

Might want to pull & lube the rear sway bar bushings, the
Panhard and LCA bushings and the sway bar endlinks. All
of these can squeak when dry, a graphite loaded grease
is a good way to go (I use engine assembly lube, with the
graphite & moly in it).
