I forget what the RPO code for a SS is but im sure someone will chime in, basically on the drivers door there will be a bunch of RPO codes, if you have the SS's RPO code its a true SS, I know the WS6 code is WS6 but not sure about the SS

I have a '99 "SS" to and was wondering about this the other day. I have read on here that earlier SS's(98-99 or so) didn't always have the code on the door. Is this true or not?

WU8, Y2Y are codes on SS's. Not all of them have the Y2Y code, but EVERY REAL SS should have the WU8 RPO code. As was said call SLP to get the vin checked out. I have tried twice this week for a car I am looking at, but both times there "computers have been down"
