QTP makes a great electronic cutout. I have one on my car. The previous owner (who works for QTP) had one put on. He had the switch mounted in the ash tray. I love it.

I don't know what it costs and I'm not sure on the size... I think it's 2.5" but an exhaust shop should be able to make even a 3" fit I'm sure.

www.quicktimeperformance.com has good info on cut-outs. you will want to look for an electric or e-cutout. Jegs also has them at about the same price. an exhaust shop can do it for around $50.

My car has it installed below the driveshaft close to the rear axle. The switch is mounted in the ashtray. It's a QTP and it's pretty cool. I don't notice any difference in power but it's definately got the cool factor.

curious... could it be installed right behind the longtubes and before the cats on each side? Basically leaving only open headers?

It doesnt really sit any lower than the stock exhaust. Just be sure to angle it so that it points to the side of the car not straight down and the clearance should be fine.

i've heard that you need at least 18 inches of pipe after the headers..or your O2's will mess up

QTP 3" manual cutout, no loss of ground clearance and underneath the passengers side seat is a perfect place. Cost $35 to have installed
