02 Z28 wont shift into gear
Hey guys. Today when i got into my car and tried to shift to first, the shifter would not
go into gear. The pedal felt like there was pressure there, but it wouldn't go into any gear.
After a bit of pumping the pedal and swearing it eventually went into gear. But while
shifting into 1st sometimes, I would hear what I would describe as a metallic rubbing. I
thought maybe the clutch wasnt fully disengaging.
The same thing happend like 15 minutes later when I got back from the store.
I'm guessing this is probably air in my hydraulic system right? I'm going
to get one of those mity-vac's and change out the fluid. I found the howtos
so well see how it goes. do i need to keep pressure in the system at all times?
I might change the master + slave cylinders at some point, so any pointers on clutches
or anything is greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks for the help!

thing is it shifted fine after this.. And i felt the normal pressure in my pedal. But I
think it was weak to begin with. I'm gonna try to completely drain the system, and
put new fluid in there. The current stuff is black sludge.
