Default Auto Launching

I am wondering what everyone would suggest is the safest/least damaging rpm to launch my car at or at all, i am comfortable with launching at idle but would like to know how many rpm's i can hold with powerbraking it without ******* something up.

I launch at about 3500, converter flashes to around 4200ish on motor
Launch around 2500 and converter flashes to around 4800-5000 on the 150 shot. If you have a stock converter, launch at whatever you want.

I have a 99 w/3.23 a4 and if I want to launch hard I hold the brake down and push the throttle about 25-40% down so the rpms are 1500-2500 then lift the brake when I go and ease into the pedal so I am completely floored by around 15-20 mph, If I just mash the pedal after lifting the brake I spin to much, no matter what you do your going to stress your drive train because it's trying to move and your not letting it, and don't forget to take traction control off it can be a buzz kill when you start to spin and then you lurch forward because it stops you, I drive around with ASR off unless it rains out

ok all of this sounds good, here is where i'm at right now. i have a brand new set of goodyear eagle f1 gs d3's on my car and if i lauch at idle, and by that i mean mash it into the floor after letting off the brake from a dead stop, i get at most 1 revolution of spin before i go. so i am trying to figure if i can powerbrake my car without ruining my rear end/ transmission too hrobbly.

It can be a little tricky.I like to feather just a tad if im slippin. As soon as u feel it grip(it truly is a feel thing)squeeze it to the floor.I usually dont stomp.Just a nice quick squeeze of the pedal.I go practice on some dead roads at like 3-4 am.Practice it cause when u get the chance to race, you wont even think about it.Your stall isnt gonna hurt a thing on street tires.

The stock stalls at 1750, hold brake rev it to stall, let off brake, let tires catch up stab, stab, punch.
