Default normal?

My 98 TA seems light on front end. The steering is tight; however, when riding on poor, uneven roads the front of the car is all over the road. When driving on interstate, the thing drives straigt as an arrow. Is this normal? The TA has been lowered 2 inches.

don't worry about that, it's not due to poor suspension, it's actually demonstrating how well the suspension hugs and follows contours in the road, you wouldn't expect a truck to drive straight as an arrow down a dirt road would ya?

No I don't guess I would. Maybe that's why I'm noticing this is b/c I typically drive a truck.

If I had to guess I'd say your tires are pretty worn. As you lose tread, the handling tends to get squirrely at times... like where big trucks have left indentations on the road. I've noticed when my tires are new the car tracks a lot better.

The tires on my Silverado are getting worn as well and it still doesn't get jerked around like the camaro does so the suspension design may contribute to it?
