Default Broke wires to sensor/power

Today I was removing my old K-Member to install a tubular one. I forgot to unplug one connector on the passenger side and the wires ripped out of it when the K-member dropped. Three small wires broke from the push clip. The part where it connects to the block is above the oil dipstick tube and you have to remove the starter to see it. Does anyone know what it is/does and how would I fix it. I'll try to get a picture up later this week.

idk what it is, but you can go to the GM dealer and tell them what happened, and they will order you a new plug with a length of wires on it, just cut and connect the wires into the existing wires and plug it in.

they dont need to be soldered, just connected with crimp connectors and taped up. but soldering is a good idea.

Wires like that will never break where you might use a connector to put them back together. You always have to get a new wire from the dealer.
thats what were talking about. mine pulled out from the plug on the oil level sensor and i had to get a new plug with wires from the dealer. but the old and new wires dont have to be soldered.
