Solid Roller Lifter Adjustment?
I'm starting a build on a LS1, Ported 5.3 heads, XE-R276 Comp cam, LS6 intake, SCAT Rods 6.125 & Probe pistons.
I'm getting the Comp Kits of Springs, Locks, Retainers, Pushrods and was considering going with their Solid Lifters.
This is going in my every day driver 12,000-14,000 annual miles. Will see the track 2 or 3 times a month with a little playing around on the street inbetween. I want to spin it to over 7,000rpms and figured the solids would be the best choice, but I know Rocker adjustment is a bitch in 4th gens.
So my question is, realistically, how often will I have to adjust the valves? Once a year? Every 30.000 mi? I have done it on flat tappet solids, but never on a roller, much less a fuel injected engine.
Seeking your advice

the GM Caddy Race lifters are good for over 7k rpm. call SDPC-> about them. like 200 a set and are good for over 7k. u will probably have to do something about ur rockers at those rpms also. can't help u there

Every 5,000? That's way lower than I've been hearing. Usual answer is 10-15K.
I know I'll make more power, but don't know how often I'll really need it. This will only see over 6,000 rpms a couple of times a month on track nights I'm sure. Is every day driving really making this that impractical?
