Default My new 02 SS





My new 02 SS i just picked up for a little under $15k. 45k miles.

PLan to get cold air intake and exhaust first

i still have the stock cat back on my 02SS a4 and ran a best of 12.61 @110.the stock muffler flows pretty good.i have a slp lid,slpmass air meter,slp uderdrive pully,slp long tube headers,lower control arms,slp strutower brace,panhard bar and m/t et streets on chrome 10 spokes.

my friend said that for the 02 camaro its better to run shorty headers and not the longtube, is that true?

no actually, quite the opposite. ls6 manifolds (and the 2000 manifolds for that matter) flow just as well as any shorty for them, hence the small variety of shorties for the fbody compared to the mustang. if you're gonna do headers, do LT's, don't waste money on the shorties, the gains would be minimal...at best. nice looking car, i love the red.

not a bad deal, but makes me realize how much of a deal i got on mine...99ss with 15,700 miles for 14,500. good luck with it and as they already said lt's all the way
